    Last.fm post:

So what has been happening in my ears the last two months? A quick update...

    Bikini Kill:
They rock! I jumped like a fool around on their music. Especially

Bikini Kill - Rebel Girl. Their lyrics are cool too. I'm not really a big lyrics-listener, but when I heard them, I was like: Wow, hot =P

    Buscemi:
I love him! What do you need more than some a Martini, candle light, a computer and Buscemi, to get some inspiration to write? This is my late-night-favourite!

    Eisley:
Got to know them through last.fm radio. They are okay for some time, but now I'm quite tired of their music. Well, the music fitted my mood that time.

    Jeff Buckley:
I always thought him to be some kind of old dry singer-songwriter, but actually he's quite nice. In particular Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah. I ALWAYS get goose bumps from that song. I'm still doubting about what version of Hallelujah I like the best: Jeff Buckley's or Rufus Wainwright's.

    Le Tigre:
Fantastic music! Also the kind that makes me dance around like a fool. I really adore them. Le Tigre - T.K.O. rocks!

    Millionaire:
This is a quite well-known here in Belgium. I saw them in Leffinge, but I can't really remember something special about that concert. But now I heard their new song on Studio Brussel (Millionaire - Ballad of Pure Thought) and I liked it. Downloaded some more and they are pretty okay. But I don't really know if they are really that good (as I don't remember anything special about their concert).

    Pixies:
God, I LOVE the Pixies! I seem to listen to them in waves. The last week or so I have been playing Pixies - Monkey Gone to Heaven SO much. That is such a great song!

    Rilo Kiley:
This is some what in the genre of Eisley. Some nice Indie music.

    Snow Patrol:
I love them! I can't believe I didn't discover them earlier. I never really cared to check them out, thinking them were some what like Kaiser Chiefs. But I checked out the download section in De Morgen (Belgian Newspaper) and downloaded it (because there were some pretty cool songs in it that I knew). Snow Patrol - Set Fire To The Third Bar is so great. Martha Wainwright's voice is so beautiful.

    Stars:
Somebody recommended this to me. I like them.

    The Arcade Fire:
Same story as with Snow Patrol. I never really cared to check them out, but they kept appearing on my last.fm radio and I liked them!

    The Flaming Lips:
Kept appearing on my radio too and I downloaded some of their music. In the beginning they were quite enjoyable, but I got rather soon tired of them.

    The Kooks:
I checked them out because I heard some very positive critics. But I think they are way too much Arctic Monkeys. If I hadn't heard of Arctic Monkeys, I'd be totaly crazy about them.

    Songs I put on repeat:
Placebo - Song to Say Goodbye
    Orson - No Tomorrow
Pixies - Monkey Gone to Heaven
Snow Patrol - Set Fire To The Third Bar
    The Rolling Stones - Angie

    Happy news:
1/ Monday I'm going to see Architecture in Helsinki. I can't wait!
2/ There's this little festival here in Mai with Levellers, Think Of One (I can't wait to check them out, there's hardly something to find of them), DE LA VEGA and Gorki. At the end of June there's another little festival here in diksmuide with Sioen. Whiee =D
3/ My dad got us some other internet-connection option, which really rocks. No more 56kb/s in the middle of the month anymore =D. We have a bandwith of 15 Gb now.

    Recommendations are always welcome...
